I curiously followed the ads and was amazed by the looks of it, but then as my eyes noted the prices, I was pushed back a little. I am not gonna spend all of that for a Macbook skin that will most likely change after two months — I was reflecting on my experience with cheap Covers.

That skin lasted with me for… Two years!

Before I go on explaining what is good about it, I’ll be clear,

I think that these can be the only Cons of slabbing one to your Macbook.

So What’s good about it?

I have been having a stone skin by Gimmestone for the last 2 years. I have always been in that situation where I got my Macbook out and someone would often comment on it or ask to touch the back cover to get an idea of how it feels.

To be honest, I am not sure how much “made of real stone” is genuine. But I can definitely say that the feel of it is as touching a real stone as it can be. I did not notice any signs of wear and tear on it. There was a couple of times that I remember where an oil stain fell on it, and all I had to do was giving it a firm scrub and that was it.
