More than 500 kilograms (1,102 lb) of cocaine worth more than 50 million Swiss francs ($50.65 million) was discovered in a container of coffee bean bags for Nestle’s (NESN.S) Nespresso facility in Romont, western Switzerland, cantonal police said on Thursday.

Nespresso contacted police on Monday night that personnel discovered an unidentified white material while unloading bags of coffee beans that had recently arrived from Brazil, according to a police statement.

“The substance in question did not come into contact with any of our products or production equipment used to make our products,” Nespresso stated in an emailed statement. “We want to reassure consumers that all of our products are safe to consume,” stated the manufacturer of single-serve coffee capsules.
