I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

As a visual storyteller, I’ve always been fascinated by the way that light and shadow can be used to create stunning images. It’s as if we are drawing with light, and by capturing the world around us through our lenses, we are writing and rewriting the world in a new way.

This idea reminds me of Christ’s answers to his people in John 8:12, where he says, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Christ brought light to those who were in darkness, and through his teachings and his love, he has inspired countless people throughout history.

Just as a visual storyteller captures the beauty of the world through their lenses, Jesus captured the hearts of people through his love and compassion. He taught us to love one another, to be kind and to forgive. He showed us that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.

Through his light, Jesus brought healing and hope to a broken world, and his love is the shadow that gives us comfort and protection. By following in his footsteps, we too can shine our light into the world and make it a brighter place for all to see.

As a visual storyteller, I see the world in a unique way, and I feel that I have a responsibility to share that vision with others. In the same way, by following Christ, we can avoid walking in darkness and instead have the light of life that he brings. Let us be inspired by the example of Christ and seek to shine his light in the world around us, just as we use light and shadow to create beautiful images in our visual storytelling.
