Either way I don’t think people realize how absolutely enslaving and entrapping that particular life path is. Let me explain: 1) Most jobs you will get with a college degree will be some sort of corporate, 9–5 office job, which will do anything but give you adventure and meaning in life. This is the first step towards your descent into emptiness and slavery. 2) A mortgage is purposefully set up so you can’t pay it back, that’s what interest is for. See most people don’t make enough money to pay it back in full, all they can do is pay off the interest and maybe a little bit of the actual debt, so you spend the better part of a lifetime trying to pay the damn thing off. Your money is already being sucked away at this point, assuming you probably have credit card debt too, now add kids to the picture…. 3) When you have children, it becomes an unbelievable financial burden even with just 1 child. At this point you will be frantically trying to climb the corporate career ladder to get a raise, because your mortgage along with credit cars, bratty kids and car insurance is just so expensive. So now your life is all about playing the rat race game, sucking up to your boss and losing every shred of dignity in your soul to chase after a pay check raise. Also, at this point you will have no more time to yourself, between frantically toiling away at work and dealing with your children at home, you find you have no time for yourself, and you and your wife are becoming more and more distant. 4) You find that you and your wifes marriage has become more about finances than actual love, you are a team to deal with bills and kids, not a happy couple. So in the end she may either cheat on you, or divorce you and take everything….that is if you don’t do it first because you’re so tired of her crap. 5) You’re now middle aged, and reflecting on your life you begin to wonder where the time went, how did you get here…etc, and suddenly it hits you like a ton of bricks… you have done absolutely nothing with your life, your job is empty, your marriage is empty, your Dodge Charger that you like to show off to your bar buddies on the weekend is empty, your kids are ungrateful and will probably do nothing in life except repeat the same empty, pointless dance that you did, only perpetuating the emptiness in society.””

Credit Cards: I have a credit cart that is in collections, my credit report shows both the original creditor (capital one) and the collection agency as well, so in effect I have two of the same accounts showing on my credit. Is this actually a double posting and should the original one be removed since the collection agency took over? Every time i apply for a loan my credit drops it was over 600 my problem is that i have 16 accounts but all are current but not for long if i cant get the help. x-wife decided 2 go through the state for child support and irs is garnishing me 10% of my gross salary. I really need to consolidate my bills and could really use 6k. I have verifiable income of 48k for last year and i’m expected to be at 52 to 60k this year. but everything hit me at same time including back child support which i owed $1170.00 and they took 475 out of my last check and their taking $511.00 out of this one. which is not going to leave me to take care of any bills but my rent and my interest on a payday loan. I’ve been working too hard trying to better my credit i will do whatever it takes to get out of this little hole that ive dug. I can get that 60 points back pretty quick i just dont want any bad marks or late payments on my credit anymore. I would really appreciate your feed back. thank -you I hope

Then if the judge says you lose your house can you back out since I am still paying all the credit cards on time? Or once you are in court there is no turning back. I have worked 2 jobs over 15 years but am losing the battle and don’t see ever paying off all the debt because they keep making the apr too high and unfair.

What do I do if midland credit management sent me a bill saying that i owe $866.34 and its not true?
About one year ago someone from this company was harassing my parents to talk to me and only me. all they gave was their name which was midland credit management and no reason why they were calling and were very rude. I had no idea who they were and I didn’t want to talk to them. (I am very young) After awhile of me not responding to their calls they stopped calling. I had absolutely no credit at the time because i had no loans, no credit cards, no nothing. Yesterday out of nowhere I got a bill in the mail from them saying I owe a debt of $866.34 and I know I don’t owe anybody that! i’ve never even bought anything worth that much money I am only 21! It also says on the bill that the original creditor was ge money bank and I’ve never used them either. It sounds fishy to me. I think they have the wrong person. I want to check my credit report to see if it’s even on there because this doesn’t make any since and I don’t have the time to deal with this. Does anyone know what to do? or how to get a free credit report and fast?””
